Curricular Programs

Math

The mathematics curriculum provides a logical and orderly method of taking students from the known to the unknown. Regular and systematic testing as well as evaluation promote mastery of the material. Using a combination of individualized programs and group learning, students can succeed and reach their full potential.

Science

Science is another major area in education where the humanist influence is especially seen. The students learn basic concepts and principles which are expanded throughout all levels. They learn this in the context of how these principles apply to everyday life. The curriculum takes the students’ natural curiosity about their physical environment and helps them build a solid foundation of knowledge of the world around them.

Science Lab
This is the physical application of the EASE (Experiential Approach to Science Education) where learning the five scientific processes is concretized through actual experimentation. The students are also encouraged to develop critical thinking in order to discover how things work and to learn scientific and logical explanations in order to apply these in their daily lives.

English

English is a major area that develops optimal language and comprehension skills through its balanced scope and sequence. Each level logically moves students step by step, continually building on traditional grammar concepts and practical usage. Constant review and testing provide regular evaluation of students’ progress in thinking, speaking, reading, and writing.

Social Studies

Social Studies examines world history and cultures. Students explore the concepts of conservatism, free enterprise, personal responsibility, and governmental responsibility. These courses build on the foundation established at the lower levels with clear presentations of political and economic conservatism.
