Literacy Enhanced Academic Program (LEAP)
Our special education program is known as the Literacy Enhanced Academic Program (LEAP). LEAP is a tailor-made program prepared by special education teachers to meet the academic needs and functioning of a student with special needs. LEAP serves students who cannot cope with the demands of a general academic curriculum required by the institution. In this program, the learning of students with special needs, those who struggle with cognitive, social, or emotional difficulties, are addressed. We believe that while they may face learning challenges, they are still very much able to learn and should, by no means, consider these difficulties as a hindrance to that goal. We recognize that these students need and require an extraordinary amount of attention, instruction, and motivation that many standardized curricula and schools are unable to give. In addition, we believe that it is far better for their development to be in an inclusive school where the placement of regular students, gifted students, students with learning disability (LD), and special needs students is a norm, so we provide an efficient Special Education Program recognized and accredited by the SPED Department in our school to help them learn.
